Shop Suki is a mother-daughter Asian owned small business that sells cute, quality jewelry on Etsy! The shop is run by Sara Hsu, a fellow lit mag staff member, and her family with their goal in business being to spread love and positivity through their trendy pieces across the globe. |

Sara Hsu is one of the women working on the Shop Suki team and she''ll be discussing her experiences with starting and owning a small business.
How is it working with family? "It’s so much fun running Shop Suki with my mom and sister. We all contribute different things, and it’s really cool to see everything play out!" What is it like creating a small business during quarantine? "Creating a small business during quarantine was extremely fun and rewarding. I went from doing absolutely nothing all day to having something to look forward to! Having Shop Suki as a creative outlet during these strange times is so meaningful to me, especially since I get to do it with the people I love." |

How would you say art has helped you throughout the creation process of Shop Suki?
"The creative process of Shop Suki is one of my favorite parts because I am able to express my creativity in a whole new way other than just visual art or writing. I am able to use my knowledge of color and design to create pieces that cater to all different groups and audiences. It really is such a rewarding process!" Is Shop Suki a potential career option for you? "Shop Suki is definitely something I want to continue in the future. I don’t know if it’s a sustainable career option, but having this as a side business is something I want to do. I can’t wait for what the future holds for our small business!" |

For college season Shop Suki came out with a new grad gift collection! This gift allows students to have a perfect tailgate/ game day accessory for their new college career.
