❝ about me ❞hiya there! my name's rachel (she/her), and i'm a junior at northview high school. this is my first year being a staffer for The Muse. although my art skills are lacking, i believe my writing and film photography skills make up for that. i love creating small stories and fantasy worlds. i'm excited to work on The Muse and see all the artworks and writings of everyone at northview.
in addition to being on the muse, i'm a junior podcast editor for Point of View. besides my love for journalism and writing, i enjoy working in north view's technical theatre department. i'm eager to return to the theatre after being away for so long. while I'm not bust with school or theatre, i enjoy lots of bubble tea, sleeping and binging different series. i'm current on downton abbey and supernatural! |

❝ film photography ❞over quarantine, we all picked up new hobbies. mine happened to be film photography. since both my parents still had their own film cameras, i decided to buy some film and get started. my family took a lot of hikes and outdoor trips just to get out of the house, so most of my photography was of landscapes. i still have a lot to learn but i'm certain i'll learn more soon.

yes, you. how are you? it's been rough recently. i've seen the hardships you've been through and how you've pushed past them. it's as though no matter how much the world pushes you down, you always seem to stand back up. i'm kind of jealous so you'll have to teach me one day. never forget how strong you are, and how resilient. you are a force to be reckoned with. what's some random person's opinion? that's okay though. i believe in you. i just hope you believe in yourself. |
