​Currently a junior at Northview High School, I joined the Lit Mag team to explore the creative facets of writing and design. I have always had a special and deep connection with stories--many people know me as someone who is always reading, writing, or public speaking. In the academic environment that high school is, as part of The Muse, I am keen to connect with a community of creatives and indulge in the more intricate aspects of art, writing, and design. I’m excited to learn and contribute to making a fantastic magazine this year!

some facts.
​When I’m not reading or writing, I enjoy playing the clarinet and crocheting. I’ve been playing the clarinet and crocheting for 6 years now--I started both in 6th grade! I crochet amigurumis (small stuffed animals) the most, but I also work on other projects (peep the crochet shirt to the left). As part of a Kpop dance group, I also enjoy learning a Kpop dance every now and then and performing at events like International Night.

Growing up, fairies and mythical creatures encapsulated my world. From playground adventures to Christmas wish lists, inhabiting different characters and realities delighted me. While I'm no longer a (Winx-Club-obsessed) seven year old, “playing story” continues to draw me in. As part of the Lit Mag team, I'm excited to experiment with my artistic voice--to explore, create, and express narratives in a variety of mediums, even if, like when I was little, they're all make believe.
